Hot Leadership Tip #10

Congratulations for reaching HOT Leadership Tip #10!

You should have received well over 23 messages from me
in the past 4 months.

Your continuing to receive these "mini-reports" tells me that
you are driven, persistent and on your way to the top!

Most people would have already quit, canceled, turned this
information down or canceled their subscription, but not you!

This tells me that you don't just see with eyesight, but with
VISION.
If you've implemented what you've learned so far into your business
and your life, you are surely on your way to GREAT success!

Remember, your success begins and ends with you.

So does your Leadership.

You are the #1 Factor in how your business and your life turns out.
Nothing else.

You also are the #1 Factor in attracting followers.

You are the #1 Factor in having people do things that they'd never
otherwise do, if left on their own.

You are the #1 Factor in inspiring others to become more than they
already are.

You are the #1 Factor in your level of Leadership.

And your Leadership determines your overall level of success.

You see, success without Leadership is like a building without a
foundation.

If you are going to build something great without first investing
into its foundation, it doesn't matter how beautiful the building
looks on the outside, the foundation determines how long it will
look that way.

Strong foundation, strong building.

Weak foundation, long term, no building.

Only you can decide.

You must ask yourself, 'Do I want just 15 minutes of fame, or do I
see myself being one of the last men or women standing at the end
of the day, for the long haul?"

Everything Nikki, rides on your Leadership.

The foundation is the key to your longevity.

What defines you as a Leader, is NOT your Self Image. That's just
your opinion of yourself.
What defines you as a Leader, are your followers.

It doesn't matter if you THINK you are a leader or if you have
manufactured and developed character or have a high level of
commitment, if no one is following you, you are not Leading.

Read that again:
It doesn't matter if you THINK you are a leader or if you have
manufactured and developed character or have a high level of
commitment, if no one is following you, you are not Leading.
This may sound simple, but many people who consider themselves
a Leader, are nothing more than a good person with high levels of
character, but very little influence.
The sole purpose of being a Leader, is to inspire others to achieve
more than they ever would, if left to themselves.

It's not for attention or to be popular or to be in control.

It's to inspire others to something that they never thought they
could be or do.

And staying in the game, staying focused and not letting little
things rob YOU of big opportunity, is the very first step in
becoming the Leader that others are looking for.

So, HOT Leadership Tip #10 is this...

"Those who last, always finish first."

Remember, tru leaders are not those who strive to be first, but those who are first to strive and who give their all for the success of their team.

True leaders are the first to see the need, envisino the plan, and empower the team for action.

By the strength of the leader's commitment, the true power of the team is unleashed.

So, STEP UP, and become the best leader you can.

Do better than your best, break your own records and constantly strive to improve your performance, and I assure you, your team will notice and follow you.

So there you have it, HOT Leadership Tip #10, which again say, "those who last, always finish first!"

Live by these Leadership Tips and you too will find yourself looking down, from the top of Success Mountain!

Hot Leadership Tip #9

HOT Leadership Tip #9 is another one of my personal favorites.

Matter of fact, it should become one of yours too - if you want to
start earning the big bucks that is!

Truly, when you understand this concept and apply it to every situation,
you will see big differences in how your business grows.

Here's how this works:

Right now, everywhere you turn, people have problems.
Problems. Problems. Problems.

Nobody wants problems, but everyone has them, right?
The key here, is to look at problems a different way.

Problems are the real key to your fortune, because without them,

there would be no solutions.

So, here's the bottom line:
In life you get paid for the problems you solve.
The richest people in the world search out and solve the biggest
problems.

Sometimes these problems are not even identifiable, but by asking
questions, you can bring to light an area that may be dark for
someone else.

Ponderable Question:
Did you ever apply a band aid without having a cut?

No way.

The one who came up with the band aid, makes mega bucks!

Look at how many people Oprah solves problems for.

Put on your problem solving glasses.

What problems do you see around you that you can help solve.

Remember, your natural talents, where your natural strengths are,
is just a solution to someone's problem.

Point being, everything was created to solve a problem.

Find a problem. Solve it. Make a fortune.

Apple just sold it's 100th million iPhone, why?

Because iPhones are solving problems for millions.

Why is Walmart so successful?

Yes, we can argue about low cost labor, etc...but the bottom
line is they solve problems for millions of consumers.

It's time to transform the way you think.

Look for problems in the marketplace that your leads, contacts
and prospects have.

Provide a solution.

The same goes for yourself.

Find a problem?

Get paid big m'oney to solve it.

So here's HOT Leadership Tip #9.

(You're gonna love this...because it make so much sense. Uh, I mean dollars!)

"The bigger the problem, the bigger the paycheck."

When you really start listening to people, instead of trying to sell them, they will tell you their problem in every conversation, that you are supposed to solve with your product, service or business opportunity.

But gather more information than you think you need.

Become an expert investigator.

Ask questions, listen and take mental notes.  Even write them down if you must, but no matter what you do, fine the problem that people have.

Fine the one thing that people want more than anything but cannot have until they are given a solution.

Solve the problem....Get paid.

Solve many problems, get paid ridiculous amounts of money!

The better the solution, the better the paycheck.

The bigger the problem, the bigger the paycheck.

It's a true win-win!

Be a problem solver and change people's lives.

Until you final HOT Leadership Tip #10, it's straight to the top!

Hot Leadership Tip #8

If you've ever been on any of my LIVE Prospecting Training
Calls, Leadership Calls or any Mastermind Calls with me, then
you've heard me say that your language will either make you,
or break you.
It's true, and here's why:

Your thoughts become your words.
Your words become your actions.
Your actions become your habits.
Your habits become your character.
And your character becomes your destiny.

So be careful of your thoughts.

Bottom line is, since thoughts become words and the words people use when speaking determine where they are in their lives, their language is a dead giveaway

Here's what I mean:

Has anyone ever asked you, "How hard do I have to work to be successful?"

I hear it a lot, simply because I talk to a lot of people.

It kind of seems like a strange question though, doesn't it?

There are only 3 possible answers:

(1) I'll try.
(2) I'll do my best.
(3) I'll do whatever it takes.

Answers 1 and 2 mean failure, 100% failure not just in business, but in life.

Try all you want.

Life and business don't reward those who just "try".

What about trying your best?

Your best isn't good enough.

Matter of fact, this is a cop-out for those who don't expect to win.

The reason is, that you weren't born with what it takes to build a huge network filled with people who believe in your company's product, service or opportunity.

There is no such thing as a born leader.

Leadership & leadership skills are developed.

You've gotta consciously become a leader by taking specific actions.

Your best isn't good enough.

You must be willing to do WHATEVER it takes.

Whatever it takes, for however long it takes, is truly what it takes.

And herein lies Hot Leadership #8...

"You must work more on yourself, than on any other area of your business."

Become a Leader by developing more character, by developing more influence and developing other leaders.

When you get better, your success will follow.

Remember, you will never out perform your own Self Image and know that your Personal Income will never exceed your Personal Growth.

Afterall, What is the alternative?

Give 80,000 of the best hours of your life to an employer - that program has a 95% failure rate.

Do whatever it takes.

Work more on yourself than on any other area of your business.

Hot Leadership Tip #7

You still have quite a ways to go before you receive all of my
messages. Stay tuned for some of your best training yet.

You are now up to HOT Leadership Tip #7, which happens to be one of
my personal favorites.

I'm going to take you back to one specific day about nine months
ago.

I had just signed a 3 Year Contract to study, practice and live the
art of Tae Kwon Do with a 6th Degree Black Belt & Master Teacher;
Master Do Young Kwon.

I thought knew what I was in for, however, I didn't realize how
deep I was in it!

On my first day of class, I was taught some of the simple basic
hand techniques and kicks. Not too bad I thought. I can get good at
this.

And then, something interesting happened.

When Master Kwon commanded the class to line up, side by side,in
belt order, I found myself at the very end, in the back of the Do
Jang. (This is what a Korean Tae Kwon Do Studio is called.)

Yes, I was a white belt, on my first day of class. The lowest man
on the totem pole.

White represented the fact that I was fresh, pure, innocent and
completely brand new to the art and discipline.

The other belts of yellow, orange, purple, green, blue, brown, high
brown, red, red stripe, double red stripe, black and many degrees
of black, all stood at attention to our Master Teacher, motionless,
eyes focused, mind focused and body focused, waiting for Master
Kwon's next command.

I was nervous, not sure what was going to happen, or come next.

Here I was, on my first day of class, sweating it out, unsure of
what was about to happen. I was in the "un"knowing and very anxious.

I could feel my body tense up and all I could think about was my
fear, as we stood there, eyes front, staring into a giant mirror on
the front wall.

Not one single person moved their head, their eyes or their body.

You could hear a pin drop.

I was the only one looking around, checking out the whole scene,
for a full minute.

It seemed like eternity.

waiting...

waiting...

waiting...

Then came Master Kwon's command in a soft voice.

"Jumping Jacks #1, 10 times."

Jumping Jacks? Are you kidding me, I thought to myself.

Here I am enrolled in the Martial Arts, standing next to kids that
are 5, 7 and 10 years old, who were already 5 belts ahead of me and
we are going to do Jumping Jacks?

I was embarrassed to say the least, almost insulted that this was
part of my training.

All the parents and other students getting ready for the next class
to begin, were watching silently.

Here I just dedicated three full years of my life, paid thousands
of dollars to learn Tae Kwon Do, and Jumping Jacks is the next
command?

I wanted to walk off the mat and go home. For that brief moment, I
was burning up inside.

Well, to my surprise, these Jumping Jacks were not your "typical"
Jumping Jacks that you and I learned in grade school.

They are Korean Jumping Jacks, much different than regular Jumping
Jacks.

So, let me tell you, when the class began to perform, like a well
oiled machine, all in unison, all together, perfectly in synch, I
was the only one who looked like a babbling idiot.

Imagine a rag doll just floundering around, mixed up and confused
and completely out of sync.

The cadence and rhythm of the class' performance was stellar.

My performance was quite the spectacle.

It was at this time that I realized HOT Leadership Tip #7.

And it is this..."The best leaders are the best followers".

You see, I thought I was "too cool for school", and the words, "I
already know this" took me from a place of "self" to a place called
"ego".

I realized that day, that there should never be a moment as a
leader, when we could not be humble and willing to learn from those
who have come before us, who have already mastered the skills that
we have not and who know far more about a subject than we do.

There should never be a day when you aren't willing to repeat what
you've already learned, heard and practiced, knowing that
repetition is the mother of all skill and that these simple little
skills will become those that will take you to the top.

That day, I realized that no matter how much I thought I knew about
life, I didn't know anything about Korean Jumping Jacks.

And if I didn't know about Korean Jumping Jacks, then there had to
be plenty more I didn't know about EVERYTHING!

In other words, as a leader, you can always learn something new,
from everyone.

Here I was a 3 year old mommas,
learning Korean Jumping Jacks from a seven year old little girl.

Certainly one of my greatest lessons in life and about leadership.
Although I am 23 years her senior, success knows no age, race,
religion, s.ex or skin color.

Many times, the student can teach the teacher, regardless of the
subject.

Never, ever, be too cool for school.

Remember, the more you listen, the more you learn.

And the more you learn, the more you will earn.

It's a direct relationship.

Stay humble and stay green.

For when you are green, you are growing.

When you are "ripe", you start rotting.

And there you have HOT Leadership Tip #7, "The best leaders are
also the best followers."

Become a great follower, and then become a great leader7.

Your next message will arrive in about a week from today.

Hot Leadership Tip #6

About 8 months ago, (at the time of this writing) after watching my
son
Landon practice Tae Kwon Do at our local Do Jang, I chose to join
him
in his daily practice and enrolled myself into a three year program
with
our Master teacher.

At first, my goal was to become a black belt.

Once I got going though, my focus began to change.

You see, I saw young kids, even 9, 10, 11 years old, who wore black
belts. And this is no small task, even for these young kids,
however, through my training, I learned something very valuable.

Let me share this short story with you:

One night, at about 3 am, I woke up from a dead sleep thinking about
how quickly I was progressing.

I started out as a white belt, progressed to yellow, then orange,
then purple, then green, then blue, now brown.

Yes, I moved up seven belts in 8 months and to be quite honest,
although I've paid quite the price, I was concerned that I was
moving too fast.

Some people are worried that they are moving too slow, but I had the
opposite problem.

I pondered; was I really getting the proper training?

Was I really getting good enough with the basic skills to progress
this quickly?

Did I really deserve to be a brown belt with such little time
invested?

Did my belt color really mean that I was as good as it looked?

These were the questions I was asking myself.

So, the next day, I approached my Master teacher and explained
to him how I was feeling.

His exact words to me were, "You are not moving fast enough.
Your belt color doesn't mean anything. Who wears the belt, means
EVERYTHING. The real test, begins at Black."

I thought to myself, wow!

The real test begins at the place where most people think it ends.

My ultimate goal, was just the beginning of the journey.

And so HOT Leadership Tip #6 was born for me.

I'd heard it for many years.

I've even lived it in many ways, just never realized it until that
moment.

"The top is just the start of a higher climb."

What the caterpillar calls the end, the butterfly calls the
beginning.

The key then, as Jim Rohn says, is to do whatever you have to do, as
fast as you can, so that you can do whatever you WANT to do, for
as long as you can.

Leaders are movers and shakers.

They take initiative.

They take action.

They are always striving to be better.

No matter what level of success they achieve, they may get
temporarily content, but they are never satisfied.

There is always someone out there looking for some assistance.

There is always someone out there searching for you, as much as you
are searching for them.

There is always someone looking for a better life, a better
lifestyle, more income, more peace of mind.

Yes, there is always someone looking, for a leader.

And by you being that leader that others are looking for, you are
always going to be in high demand.

Remember, there is a HUGE market in this World for people with
belief and confidence.

Get out there and demonstrate how its done.

Lead from the front, from the top and 'til the end.

And always remember, no matter how well you are doing, that the top
is just the start of a higher climb.

Hot Leadership Tip #5

Hot Leadership Tip #5 is so important, I can barely stand it.

Some call it accountability; I call it, "growing up"!

Quick story:

When I was a young girl, my parents divorced.

Needless to say, I grew up in a dysfunctional household.

Back and forth from one parent to the other, I realized that I had
very little stability in where I lived. 2 days here, 5 days there.
3 days here. 4 days there.

Every week, it was a crap shoot as to where I was going to be
picked up, dropped off, which bed I would sleep in, who to expect,
who not to expect and so on.

I was probably 5 or 6 years old when I realized that I didn't have
the same life as the other kids whose parents lived together, so to
make up for the lack of stability, I had to become very independent.

I knew that everything would be ok, even if there was nobody else
around to entertain me; that I'd find something to do, keep myself
active and busy.

I invented games, learned to play alone and truly become the master
of my own domain.

I was only about 7 or 8 years old.

Because I was so young, people around me got scared.

They feared that I wasn't like them, or like the rest of the kids.

My parents, teachers, siblings showed concern that I wouldn't take
their advice or follow their lead.

You see, I grew up fast, that as I got older, taking orders from
others who I had little respect for, didn't work well for me.

I had to do things my way, nobody else's.

So, my life started out with a lot of resistance. And with this
resistance, came a lot of struggle.

Over the years, as I matured in other areas, this independence I
learned at a young age, served me in some ways, but in other ways,
it did not.

When I got into Entrepreneurship, the same thing happened.

The toughest part for me, was learning someone else's system.

I thought I knew it all. I thought my way was best way.

As a result, I struggled even more.

I was so stuck on the idea that my ideas were the right ones, that
I spun out of control, and went backwards into $60,000 worth of
debt.

Was it my fault, absolutely. Did I know why this was happening?

Not at all.

I didn't know, what I didn't know.

Nobody does.

It's a trap that most everybody must fall into.

Some make it out; most don't.

And it's because of their ego.

One day, my mentor came to me and she said, "My ideas make me over
a million dollars per year. Yours make you broke. Whose ideas do
you want to continue to listen to?"

And you know what, she was right.

And it was that day that I finally realized Hot Leadership #5.

"The best leaders, at first, are the best FOLLOWERS."

The key then, is to learn someone else's system, as long as it
works and do it until you MASTER it.

However, it doesn't mean you must first master it before you teach
it to others.

The key to successful leadership, is to be bold enough to take the
first step, but humble enough to learn with your team.

Nobody should ever be too smart, to learn from everyone around them.

So again, the best leaders are the best followers. Learn from
everyone around you, but learn from those whose way of doing
business WORKS!

If your way is not making you at least $10,000 per month, then find
someone else's and learn from them.

It's the only way to make it to the top in the networking business.

Hot Leadership Tip #4

You are up to Hot Leadership Tip #4 in your training series.

This one is a doosey, so pay close attention here.

Here's the deal:

For years, I was doing everything right...so I thought.

I bought leads and cold called.

I called my Warm Market.

I sent out information, sent people to websites, emailed them and even 3 wayed them onto Conference Calls every day.

I went out and met people at local events, functions and networking groups.

I invested in training and coaching with people more successful than myself.

I purchased tapes, CDs and books and listened to them and read them every single day.

I showed up at events, conventions and get togethers.

I was doing everything right, right?

WRONG!

Actually, I WAS doing things right, but for the WRONG reasons.

You see, It was all for me. All for myself. All for I.

I was the only one I truly cared about.

I was the one who needed the most help.

I was the one in pain.

I was the one without money.

I was the one who wanted so badly for life to be different.

I was the one who struggled more than anyone I knew.

So, I was what you'd call selfish, self absorbed and self consumed.

And as a result, I became a taker.

All I cared about was taking for myself and making sure that I was taken care of.

I wanted to take back my time.

I wanted to take back control of my life.

I wanted to take back control of my finances.

Take, take, take, take, take.

That's all I knew.

Take. For myself. Not for anyone else. Me, me, me, me, me.

One day, the world was to become MINE!

So, I held on tight.

Kept a tight grasp on the little that I had.

In fear of losing it all.

Little did I realize that this need for control actually had me in it's own grasp.

In other words, the more control I tried to assume, the less I had and the more my life spun out of....control!

I was really,,,out of control.

Do you get this.

I was trying to take control so much, of everything around me, that I was in less control than I began with.

Powerless. Dis empowering myself and trying to force my success.

I was trying to "make" myself succeed.

So, Hot Leadership Tip #4, is this:

"True strength & power, is not about holding on, but letting go."

Letting go of the need for control.

Letting go of the need for perfection.

Letting go of the need to be RIGHT.

Letting go of the need to be important.

Letting go of the fear of what others think of you.

So many things to let go of, you must pretty much become empty.

So empty, that you can fill yourself back up with the qualities that it truly takes to become a Leader.

Love, Passion, Belief, Trust, Faith & Peace.

When your self is based on these ideas, success no longer becomes about YOU, but others.

And as a result of your true sincerity and interests in seeing other people succeed, you will attract and develop all the success that you've ever dreamed of.

Remember, just as power is not about money, cars, property or buildings, success is about your own fulfillment, security and peace of mind.

When you become successful at being ok with yourself, the rest will follow.

Free yourself emotionally and you will then see the true influence you have over yourself and those you communicate with.

So, to re-iterate Hot Leadership Tip #4, true strength is not just about holding on, but letting go.

Letting go of having to have the answers and be right all the time.

Letting go of a situation when things don't go your way; to be OK with it.

It is what it is and the less you resist, the less you and those around you will struggle.

That's it for now, As I said, this one is a doosey!

Learn to apply this information and watch your business and the businesses of those around you take HUGE upward turns for the better!
